I was sittin’ in the shade of a motel in Daytona
When she walked up to me with a coconut aroma
I turned to check it out in my best laid back persona
She sweetly said hello, said she came from Arizona
Down to take spring break before she wraps up her diploma
I said I come from Texas and I’m right pleased to know ya’
Well I was born in Texas, that’s where I was raised
And when my time is up it’s where they’ll dig my grave
